Rick Langstaff, Founder of New Mercies Ministries

New Mercy Ministries knows first hand about the Mercy of the Lord. We have witnessed many lives that have been forever changed and restored by God’s goodness and mercy, and God’s heart for those who need a second chance in life. Founded in 1998 , our focus is to be an outreach to people in our local area of Belleville, Ontario, who are struggling to find a second chance in life after childhood abuse, addictions and poverty. In 2004 we started a house group that had a heart for missions both local and overseas.

Our work takes us to local schools, prisons and churches. We help to meet the needs of single moms and others in our community. We are also very privileged to sponsor a couple who work with children on the Mohawk reserve in our area.

Overseas, New Mercy Ministries partners with the people of Haiti and together we work to bring the good news of the gospel to a country that is close to the heart of God.
